24 SEVEN-OUT EXCUSES
This is a list of common excuses. I hear on a daily basis, usually made by superstitious players, when a SEVEN-OUT rolls. Remember the 7's is, supposed to roll one out of every six times on average.

- Cold dice

- Worn-out dice
- Dice bounced off the table
- Dice hit a stack of chips
- Dice did not roll the full length of the table (short roll)
- Dice hit the stick
- Dice bounced off a dealers hand
- Dice slipped out of hands of the shooter
- Same shooter had bad roll last time
- Bad shooter
- You don't like the shooter
- Shooter is betting on the Don't
- New stickman
- New dealer
- Somebody uttered that word, "SEVEN"
- Somebody you know came up to the table and said,"how's it going"
- A new player walks up to the table and places a large bet in the middle of a roll
- Cold table

(Not in any specific order)
· You
are in a mini war between you and the casino. Take each battle seriously and you
will emerge victorious. Remember
you are there to make money.
· Set your loss limits and win goals.
· Never let the dealers intimidate you into
accepting a bad decision.
· Change tables frequently – Hit and Run. The way I play is $100 - $200 wins at
five different tables.
· Always
cash out before you win $10,000 to avoid filling out a tax form (Cash is King)
· Make
no emotional decisions. The casinos get rich on emotion. If you lose your mental
composure, your money will follow. Take a break and play again later.
· Hit and Run – Forget about the comps. The entire casino comp system is
designed to treat you like royalty, keep you at the tables as long as possible,
and systematically take all your money.
· Don’t be one-dimensional; Vary your systems and
betting methods to the flow of the tables. Play multiple games for additional
leverage.
· Maintain your focus on your objective of
winning.
· About money management – It’s cut and dried. The
money you take with you on a gambling trip is your bankroll. If you plan on
staying two days, then risk only half of it the first day. Common sense tells
us not to lose all the money the first day.
